4x4 light

2005 xl 6.0

Turn truck on 4x4 light comes on, along with my emergency brake light, low range, seat belt, and a door alarm blaring... took it to get scanned and nothing comes up..

manual t case put it in 4x4 and then neutral and it stopped... could this be a tcase or 4x4 sensor??

The only place all those have something in common is the cluster IMHO

power is sent to all those lights as a check at key on but I am not sure what duration your seeing this anomaly ?

there is a cluster test you can run if you have the reset etc buttons

On the KR and Lariat models: You have to hold the Setup and Reset buttons at the same time, then turn key to on - you will see TEST and as soon as you do, let off the buttons and then start the truck - press reset to cycle thru all the options...
