Edge insight CTS?

I just received this in the mail and had a question on the PID that are available. I have already sent an email and left a message with Edge and haven't gotten a call back yet, so I thought I would ask everyone here.

I hooked up the device to my computer to make sure it was updated before I pick up my truck tomorrow. In the list of PIDs it doesn't show EOTas an option. Does the device have to be connected to the vehicle in order for this to show up as option or am I missing something else?

Yes. Once you hook it it up it will ask you the make of your vehicle. When you select ford it will automatically enable the pids that apply to your vehicle. Then they will show up in your list of available pids.

I don't believe ford supports engine oil pressure. You would have to add that on yourself.

no did doesn't support the engine oil pressure. But I wouldn't be too worried about that. Our trucks won't run if the oil pressure gets low. Like an engine saver if you will. You can do a separate gauge, but I dont know wether the tap fir it is the same place as it is on the 7.3. Mine is a square 1/4 npt plug, that's on the drivers side of the engine, on the last rib of the block half way up. Its next to my oil filter, but since your oil filter isn't there, I can't reference it much better than that

I did forget to mention that it does monitor the injector pressure which is from the high pressure oil pump if you're interested in that
