Trailer tow park lamps FUSE

The other day when I hooked up a trailer to my (2004 F350 Powerstroke) truck, the turn lights on the trailer didn't work, I checked the fuses in the compartment fuse panel and found the 20A fuse for the Trailer tow lamps and the 20A fuse for the Trailer tow turn/stop relay were blown. I put a new 20A fuse in the Trailer tow turn/stop relay with no problems, but when I put the new 20A fuse in the Trailer tow park lamps my running lights went on and I got the beeping noise (like the sound you get when you do not have your seat belt fastened). If the problem had been the turn/stop relay fuse, I would have went to the actual relay, but since it is the to park lamps, I'm at a lose as to where to check for the problem. If anybody has an idea what may be going on, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

If it's blowing the fuses with the trailer hooked up and not blowing fuses when the the trailer is not hooked to the truck, then you probably have a ground issue on the trailer.
If you have the factory brake control: When it beeps, do you get the "trailer is unhooked" message or something similar?

I am not sure when the original fuses got blown, but after changing the fuses they have not blown again. But the symptom that I described continues. Presently I have the 20A fuse for the Trailer tow park lamps pulled to avoid the issue. If it was continuously blowing the fuse, I would have suspected a short some where, but it doesn't, and it leaves me at a loss.
I am going to take a closer look at the trailer plug-in's on the truck and if I can disconnect the wires from the actual plug (hopefully not have to cut wires) then maybe that will help me isolate the problem.
