as soon as i put the truck in R the off light apears and the sensor do not work. but when i go to N D 3 2 1 i can press the button and the off light is gone so its back on again. but as soon as i go back to park you have to go threw R and the light comes on saying that its OFF any ideas ?

It's either a bad sensor or a broken wire. If it;s not the wire then the only way to tell which sensor it is is with a scan tool that can read the bcm.

i don't think so. I think they just go to the back. If it is a wire it's probably by your rear bumper and was broken by a rock or something. Most likely a sensor though. They are prone to going bad and they are not cheap either.

junkyards? I got mine from a salvage yard. I got all 4 and the rear harness for $250.00. So you know. Any ford reverse sensor will work. The harnesses are different but all the sensors are the same.
