fog lights inoperative

hey gang, so I finally got my engine work done, and moved on to the lights. I had cab lights installed professionaly cuz I was scared to drill holes myself, and now working on the fog lights. the previous owner cut the wires to them to run strobes I guess, so all I had to start was the housings mounted on the bumper. I bought the right bulbs, and spent 40$ on the connectors, spliced em in and wadyaknow... they don't work. I turned the key on and turned the headlight switch on, is there another switch separate for the fogs? I checked the fuse and its good. its a 2005 lariat if that helps.. any insight would be great thank you

Have you shot wires to ensure that power is getting through the harness to the actual connector that connects to the lights? Also shoot the ground to make sure the ground is in good shape.

Thats where I would start.
