lariat radio in xl?

I bought a used 6 disc stock radio to replace my aftermarket radio. Can't adjust volume or turn on and off. Won't load and cds claiming the bays are full and it wont eject neither. Is it broke or is it not swappable between models?

Radio has two plugs and antenna jack. Could only find one plug and antenna from the teuck...

the only difference in the plugs are for the steering wheel controls (which the donor truck had) but not my truck. is the radio programmed for the controls or can i somehow make it work even though i don't have steering wheel controls???

I'll upload one in a second. Stock single disc works normal.

the 6 disc came from a lariat with steering wheel controls. obviously my XL does not have that. there is an extra wire on a plug for the steering wheel controls, if it is just a 12volt power, i can try and hook one up...

I took an AM/FM out of my service truck and put a single CD in with absolutly no issues. Should be able to just plug the one plug in and the antenna to make it work. Sounds like the new cd player is bad.
