new radio, no sound.

hey guys, first off ill start by saying hello. i just bought a 2003 6.0L F-350 (yes, yes, I've heard all the bad things about that year) everything about the truck seems A.O.K. but the stock radio was shot in it so today i replaced it with a Sony head unit. it seems to work fine but i can't get sound out of the speakers not even a bit of static. i tried to re wire all the speaker wires on the wiring harness to see if there was a mistake but no dice. does anyone have any words of wisdom for this problem before i start ripping apart the interior on a mad witch hunt.
