Another example of dealership skill level.

A buddy took his truck into the dealership to get his EGR valve replaced and his manifold cleaned out. Right after when he got home he was having a hard time starting his truck and asked me to take a quick look at it. I think he was lucky his truck didn't have an electrical fire as the mechanic failed to tighten the hot cable nut on his alternator. Protective cap was starting to turn black, around the nut was back ash of burnt plastic and the hot cables insulation was melted off for about two inches.
