Door open light

Hey guys, lookin for some help here, i just hopped in the truck and the interior lights and the door open light is stuck on, and all doors are closed tight, anybody have any ideas, i dont even know what controls the sensors on this truck... thanks

Mine did the same the sensor is in the door latch inside the door I just took the door panel off got to the latch and cleaned it and lubed it then it worked fine.

You can try to give the latches a little blast of WD-40 or something like it. It'll be a temp fix, but it might cure the problem for a while.

Had that same prob on my last truck('02 250). Tried the clean out and it didn't work. Finally had to bring it in to get the sensor replaced. Cost me like $175, give or take.

great, thanks for the info, the next time i started it, it fixed itself. But im sure ill have to take it apart sometime and clean it down the road. Thanks again
