Factory 6 disk AUX setup

Ok ok so I know this question has been asked many times on here but I'm still not getting a real clear answer so I figured I'd ask anyways.

I have a 06 Lariat with the stock 6 disk cd player in it now. All I want to do is add an AUX port so I can play my ipod/iphone. I've tried many different FM transmitters and lets face it they all suck. I don't wanna put in a new head unit I just want to leave it completely stock the way it is now just add an AUX port like the newer trucks have on them.

Is this possible? and if so what is the brand to use and where is the best place to get them?

I just put one in my 07 i got the PIE module from crutchfield. I managed to get it in without pulling the dash. Took off the trash hook and coin/ashtray drawer and reached up in behind. I put an isimple IS335 flush mount aux port low on my dash where the previous owner had a little hole for a cb mount, so it cleaned that up nice. Hope this helps. Itwas about a 30min job, mostly trying to get that plug in the radio lined up, a few hand scratches and it was in, happy to report no blood was lost!

Sure wish I woulda read this post before ordering mine on ebay.... I need to return it for the correct one from amazon...

I had to pull the front of the dash off and disconnect everything from the lights all the way to the power plug to the right of the radio... Was not difficult, but i have been tearing into stereos since a teen. LOL

I put it all back together and will return this one and order the right one... AM/FM (don't own CD's) is gettin old in the Green Machine.... LOL

nordstrom - This unit shows it fitting the F-150, but can't see where it fits our trucks...

ISFD531 is the correct part number?
