Definitely a good bulb is the RED PLATINUM 21 LED BLINKER BRAKE LIGHT BULBS 3157 3156 4157 | 1 PAIR - Red LED - 3157 - 3156 LED - Bulb #

I use them in my tail lights, they are very bright and have a great difference in contrast between the tail light intensity and the brake light intensity which some led bulbs don't have.

Before you order leds, take out one of your stock bulbs to make sure it is a 3157. It is possible that your tail lights use the 1157 bulbs.

They don't look like just a dot right? I've seen some LEDs that are a penny size dot because the light doesn't spread out. And does yours flash fast or normal now?

No, these don't just light up a round dot. They shine all directions to light up the entire lens.

To make them flash at the correct speed, just replace your flasher with an electronic flasher which you can get at almost any auto parts store.

Here is a video of them in my tail light housings:

Cool. Thanks a lot. I've got a Whelen lightbar with led stop tail turn but incandescent truck lights. Doesn't look that great

I have SuperBrightLEDs in my car and Excursion. I live them. Very bright. Fills the whole housing with light not just the dot. I've had them in my at for probably 50k miles and about 4 years with no problems.

If I'm not mistaken your flat bed lights should have 1156 bulbs.

I just ordered LED light replacements for every exterior light from superbrightleds.com. I haven't seen a complete list of part numbers and quantities for this project all from one place. If everything goes according to plan and all of these bulbs fit and work correctly, I will do a write up of the information to aid everyone else who is looking to do this project.
