Gauge light out...
One of the backlights in the gauge went out, I pulled the gauge cluster out and found the bulb holders. I pulled the one out I thought was the burnt one, (used a bit of force and pliers). It was. I re-inserted and it felt loose, so I pulled out another one to compare, then tightened up contact tabs to get a snug fit. Now it seems like two lights are out, (burnt one and compared one). My question is: Are the bulb holders re-useable if pulled out and a new bulb inserted? I hope someone has an answer to this so I dont have to keep taking dash apart. Crappy part is I cannot tell lights are out until it gets dark...
Thanks, Russell |
