keyless entry problems

hey guys i am having troubles with my factory keyless entry system on my 05 ccsb 250 4x4. all of the sudden my key fob stopped working so i replaced the battery on the key fob and still no go, went to checker and tested the key fob on their tester and it showed good so i figured maybe it needed to be re-programed i cycled the key 8 times and nothing happens? the key pad on my door still works? any help would be greatly appreciated thx

checker can test the RF functionality of a FOB ?

Mine does that every once in a while. Shut your doors and then hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 5 seconds and then see if it works. Works for me.

tried holding the unlock lock button and no go?

ok figured it out on some 05 models you have to do the key on and off 8 times in ten seconds then hit the unlock button on the door panel then it goes into program mode, works like a charm now
