Truck died. No power when I turn the key and no interior lights

Today I was out driving my truck and I have had some intermittent problems in the past where my speedo would go out and they power windows ect. Well it hasn't been acting up lately and today I was out on a dirt road and I hit some minor washboards and the truck died immediately. My power steering went out and the whole thing. I put the truck in park to try and restart but I have no power... Acts like the batteries are dead. They aren't dead because I tested them and had 12 volts on each. I went through and checked all my fuses and they all seem to be good. When I say checked all the fuses, I checked the ones under the hood on the drivers side and then the ones under the steering column. Not sure what else to check but it is definitely something electrical. Any suggestions would be great as to where to start looking. The truck by the way is an 05 6.0 with 187,000 miles... Has run great up to this point.

check the battery voltage. it sounds like the voltage reg took a crap and everything that was non-essential was cut off. pwr accys and other things not needed to drive the truck. i would also check all of you connections at the starter and alternator. battery cables, see if they are frayed or open. you couldve popped a loose fuse out over the bumps. but id start with the obvious

There is a larger cable that comes off the left battery + terminal that feeds the cab. Check the connection for it. Also, load test your batteries and have the alternator tested.

I had a problem with mine where I drove it home Saturday just fine and by Monday everything was dead. I jumped it and the truck seamed to run fine but I had no dash, radio, or done light. Both batteries bad. Replaced them as the alternator. Everything works great.
