pwr sliding window wiring harness

trying to upgrade to a power sliding rear window.

i looked under the dash for 3, yes three hours for the connection. it appears as though i'm only wired to the passenger kick panel.

does anyone know the part number of the wiring harness to go from the kick panel to the dash switch?

Don't think it's that simple... it is part of the main dash harness.

You SURE you were looking in the right place behind the dash?

I believe my XLT has the wiring there (and in the back by the window... which you also need for this to work). No reason why your XLT shouldn't have it too.

Have you pulled out the trim panel from behind the rear seats to check for the wiring there? If you've got wiring there, then you definitely have to have it in the dash.

Just went out and looked in my truck.

I have the back panel behind the seat removed for other reasons, but the power connector for the rear window is easy to find (mine does not have one, btw).

Connector C312 is located directly adjacent to the car seat anchor on the passenger's side along the back wall of the cab. It is a two wire harness, and the only one there.

According to the schematic, looks like there is a pigtail harness that extends from this point to the center of the cab where the motor assembly is mounted.

The dash switch connector should be right above the upfitter switches, once you remove the bezel from around the dash. It has 7 wires in it... some of them heavy gauge power wires. I know mine is there... I stole power from it.

when i had the kick panel off i could see the two wires that came from the window motor, but it didnt look like they were picked up on the other half of the wiring harness that would bring them to the dash switch.

This is the connector you are looking for.

Don't need to remove the radio to find it.

I believe the other connector you see in that picture is the power pedal switch.
