Finished product! Wired the light bar on the roof up!

Good job!
They don't even give you info when you pick up your truck at the dealership brand new When I picked mine up, they knew nothing about the upfitter switches and didn't even know how to turn on the fog lights!

Thanks to sites like this, we can get this stuff done

I know right! I bought this truck used, and i was pretty much teaching the guy who owned it before me about the truck... I dont know if that just means im smart, or he had NO CLUE what he was doing... LOL!

Over time I have hooked up a lot of things in my truck:

Upfitter switch #1 is backup lights, #2 is KC driving lights, #3 is for air compressor, and #4 is for the high idle

I have also added more switches for the cargo light, daytime running lamps, and a switch to override the stereo/navigation dimming so that it won't dim in the daytime if I have my headlights on.

Next on my list is high idle... Probably gonna take me another month to figure out how to do it.

Here is a video of where to find the high idle wire, and all you have to do is connect it to any one of your upfitter switch wires.

It is about the easiest mod you can do!!!

So? High idle wire is the purple wire with green stripe? All i have to do is connect it to the upfitter wire and im done? If thats it then ill be very happy!
