the code from the factory should be in your owners manual? If not you can go to ford and they can reset it for you for free.

Under the dash dead center is the computer for the alarm. It is mounted on the firewall on the inside and a pain in the butt to see. There is some sound deadening fuzzy stuff that you have to push aside. A mirror and a flashlight will be needed.

Sorry. There is a decal on it that has the code. It is in one corner of the decal. Only five digit number on it.

The numbers are bigger so if you see a decal and you have to squint to see it because it's too small of writing, then a chance you are looking at the wrong thing.

The two dealers I called said they charge $50 or $60 to reset the code.

Thats bull! It takes them literally 5 minutes to reset it and to put in your code you want... They did mine for free.

I totally agree! Thats why I'm still using the one the PO gave me when I called him. It's not worth $50 to me to change it!
