It sounds great! $550 is about right for the JL 13TW5. The Pioneer TS-SW3041D is about $150. The difference in sound is VERY minimal.

You need anywhere from 200 to 500 watts.

Hey SPL2K,

Can you suggest some options for us guys that have the Extended Cab trucks? Do you make any boxes for us? I will probably only need one sub. Not sure about 10 or 12" yet. I have a mono amp already. Don't remember the wattage off hand, but would probably get the loudest out of a 2 ohm sub. Hope I am thinking about that right. Let me know your guy's suggestions. Thanks.

Sorry ive been kinda slow lately with answering audio / sub box questions on here and through pm's and emails. Ive been SUPER busy with big boat installs which isnt leaving much time for Super Duty stuff right now.

How about 4 10's? Thats what I did and I have that dumb power window. I just moved the motor to where Ford should have put it in the first place.

here is a box with 2 rockford P3 shallow mount subs fits behind the back bench with not problems at all it's a sealed box and it actually has the correct amount of air volume for the 2 subs(alot of the boxs for behind the seats don't have the correct air volume) there powered by a rockford p1000 amp i can make my steering wheel vibrate back and forth about an 1/2 inch and they sound crisp as hell
