All you need to bang the block off is 2 15" Digital Designs (DD) ported in the back of your truck w/ a 2500 watt JBL amp.

About Kicker's:
If you are going for just ridiculously loud bass, they are the best bang for the buck!

But, if you want quality clean bass, you need something along the lines of DD, RE, ED, JL, etc.

Another idea for shallow mounts also are Boston Acoustics. You could fit 4 10" G1s in the back. I have two and they are nice, but I would like to have 4.

And if anyone is considering a good and fairly inexpensive mono amp, check out the Alpine PDX-1.600. I have one in my truck and it is very small and very powerful. They also make 1 that is the exact same size that puts out 1000 watts. Hope this helps some of y'all.

I have 2 of the pioneer 12s i lifter my seat 2 " , i just took the seat out flipped it over and made a box to fit in it. you get much better sound downfiring than pusheed up against the back of a seat. sounds great and i still have my space for amps atlasses, phone books spare belts, wrags, hand cleaner......

Yes....in the 04 to 07's, the panel on the back of the cab is molded the same with or without the rear power slider.

How does this setup sound? And how expensive is that JL sub? I couldnt find it for any less than $550. Also how big of an amp would it need?

I have an '05 Crew cab and do happen to now have rear captains. I built a box for a single 10" (extremely crappy job) when I had a rear bench, but now want to put my rear panel back in since I now have the rear captains. What route would you suggest I go?

EDIT: I have rear captains and rear power slider. I just want some solid base for all around good sound. I have JL Audio components in front and rear locations running off a Pioneer AVIC-D1. I only have an amp currently powering the 10" JL Sub (W1).

With the rear captains chairs, its the exact same shaped box but there is an additional 1 inch of mounting depth on the bottom so the box is slightly larger. It will look and sound great with your JL 10W1.
