I was thinking that... my 10W is one SERIOUS sub! Every once and a while, the thing hits a note that just makes me say, WOW! It's a single 10 and just blows me away each time- it's why I'm looking to get captain's seat in the rear and move the box to the back so it can reflect off the back cabin wall (once dynamatted). Than- all the world will shake, kind of

those pioneer subs are horrible imo,i have tried everythimg also, and the best shallow mounts right now are the alpine type s they have a 5inch mounting depth and they will hit low notes unlike the pioneers.

i noticed that no one on here mentioned anything about elemental designs.
they make a very nice shallow mount 10" that hangs with the best and for a very good price.
no, i am not a dealer. just trying to give some options to some of you out there.
Elemental Designs

check these out. get 2 of these along with a nine .2 amp and you'll be set.

looks like you went with 6x9 in the front are they component if so where did you put the tweeter...

just curious what deck did you use....did you keep the rear speakers???

The 12'' Pioneer Box and Sub was too big to go behind the seat, which is why I went with the 10''.

I have memphis 6x9's in the front doors and I'm still using the rear factory speakers. The door speakers have the tweeters in them and they are angled upwards. (not sure what component means)

I've got the Alpine CDA-9857 Head Unit. Works great for Sirus and my Ipod that is in the glove box. I've got two 400W InterFire Amps. One for the sub and one for the 6x9's. It is loud and clean sounding.

Also, I bought the Pioneer box at Car Toys (UD-SW10B), with a Shallow mount 10'' Pioneer speaker.

Well, I was thinking of going with the 12 shallow Kicker Comps, 2 behind the seat, and was thinking of perhaps having them ported firing up- I have always had sealed and been impressed as it helps with the quick kick drums of rock and country, as I listen to everything-
Any input here guys would be appreciated... thoughts.... suggestions... past experiences... etc EVERYONE WELCOME
