the rear seat will have to go forward about 2 1/2". Even if you do move it far enough forward to get enough mounting depth, you will still only have enough airspace for a sealed enclosure. 1 good shallow mount 12 in a proper ported enclosure will fit behind the rear seat with no modifications to the seat brackets AND will perform VERY close to the 2 L5 12's.

.....and will save you a few hundred dollars.
Ok... I have been out of the car audio loop for awhile, so which are the best in your opinion?? I have a JBL 1200.1, (600wx2 @ 4ohms, or 1200x2 @ 2ohms, & 2400 +\- x1 @ 1ohm) these are rough, and probably not accurate, but it pushes. I had it to 2 12L5's in a box under the seat of my z-71 about .75cu each sealed, and it slammed. Like nose rattleing. So needless to say I would like to try and accomplish the same, I am open to suggestions, and gettin rid of the L5's if I can get the same performance.

I think I'm gonna hold out for the 13TW5 and slam 2 of those behind my rear seat! If it's anything like JLs other subs, I won't be dissappointed!
gonna be hard to drop my 10W7 though! That thing is amazing!

I think you'll be disappointed man. The W7s are just ridiculous. The 13TW5's are not as loud as a single W7. Even 2 of them won't get that loud. I'd stick with that one badass woofer IMHO.

My buddy has that setup in his 08,if you like more rock or country,10's sound better in my opinion, rap and r&B though 12's sound nice.

i had 2 10" jl wo's in my old stroke and they sounded nice. they are shallow for the room we psd owners have. it was a crew cab with bench seat. box was custom made. i have 2 12" alpine type r's powered by a 500.1 jl amp behind the seat of my short box now and they pound too hard. thinkin about switchin to 2 10's again since i dont need all that bass. i dont like rap. just country and rock.
