Subwoofer sound issue
Got a kenwood excelon head unit, pieced together amp wiring kit from stuff I had laying around, brand new dual 400 watt amp(temporary), and a kicker cvr 12. Im having a really weird issue with the sub, sounds like its bumping to the rpms of the truck if that makes any sense, im thinking it may be the RCA cables, or something isnt grounded properly somwehere. Any ideas or advice would be awesome.

I would think it's the rca's. Thats the only way ur amp is getting a signal from the head unit. Also, did you run the power wire seperate from the rca's? I have seen before where someone ran all the wires together to the amp and they got interference from the power wire.

Re: Subwoofer sound issue
Make sure you have good separation between signal wires(rca) and power wires. I run my power and signal wires on opposite sides of the vehicle. Plus make sure All your grounds are good
