Door Locks

Hey everyone, truck I am picking up Tuesday did something a little weird on the test drive. The doors locked themselves automatically when you turned the truck on. Not sure if this is normal? Thought they were supposed to lock once you reached >X mph.

Does it hav an aftermarket alarm? I know mine does lock after u reach x speed.

mine locks when you put it in gear. on my magnum, you can choose the speed when they lock.

I've never heard of them locking when you start it. On GM products, they lock when you put it drive or reverse and unlock when put in park. On most cars though, they lock at 10 or 15 mph.

I haven't bought the truck yet, but picking it up on tuesday as long as it passes inspection at the Ford dealer. Didn't appear to have any kind of aftermarket alarm dealer just handed me a key with no key fob. Started the truck and the doors locked. Weird, only problem i've noticed other than the factory radio is burnt out. Still works just no lights on it.

No, it still functions perfectly just no clock/etc. Im getting a pretty good deal i feel on it so I can deal with it and throw in a replacement sometime this spring. If you want pics/info on it I posted a bunch of pics of it in the introductions forum.
