Sound System

So I just got this truck and I love everything except the stock sounds system. So what do you all recommend for a system. I want Subs and a new head unit. Let me know what you all think, Thanks!!

With the 6.0 you have to get creative for subs. I found a box that fit behind the rear seat but it only fit trucks without power rear window and you have to take the rear liner out.

There is a wedge type box for 12" that fits behind the back seat perfectly. Plenty of room under for an amp. For subs, I personally like JL, but to each his own. Pioneer has a couple double din touchscreen head units. They mount well. I run one, and love it.

I have four 8" subs in a custom box a friend built for me. Wanting to upgrade to 6 total in the future. They are kicker comp vr's. Have had them since '05, they're not low pro.

Well I just ordered a Kenwood DDX719, today it seems pretty awesome and I am pretty stoked to put it in, Now just for subs and a box, I already have a 1000w amp

I installed a JVC recently, I did this thread on Diesel Bombers.com to track my progess with pictures Aftermarket Stereo install FYI. You're going to have to look it up as this site gets all cranky if you try to post a link to another site (LAME!).

One thing I did was to incorporate the factor mounting bracket in the dash and the plastic guide to give my JVC deck some stability and take the load off of the face plate.

What is everyones thought on this? Would it fit and sound decent? Im looking for "some" bass. Not an earth shaker.
