Uplifter Power While Ignition Off?
Is there anyway I can change my stock uplifter switches to run on direct 12v whether the ignition is on or off?

I will have to look into this a little bit, you will need to tie into the factory wiring before the relay. I will look at the schematics and try to find the wires.

All you have to do is find the upfitter relay in your fusebox, pull out the relay, then put a jumper wire between the #30 and the #87 sockets.
Here are the 2005-2007 upfitter schematics: https://www.fleet.ford.com/TRUCKBBAS/non-html/Q117.pdf |
