04 GEM location help
Working on an 04 F450 has no running lights all the way around the cab but cowboy lights work. Checked all fuses and they are ok. Truck has rear and front turn signals but no brake lights. Fuel gauge goes in and out alot. Question is. Does this year have a GEM? Or is in incorporated in the cluster? The box in center of floor board with plastic panel covering it. Does it have anything to do with symptoms? Any help would be great thanks

I believe that module in the center is the keyless entry module. I read somewhere that to check if you have a GEM to lock the doors using the keyless, wait 2-3 minutes, then press the unlock button (on the door panel) once. If it does not unlock with one press, then you have a GEM.

well that sucks! I wish I could be of further help, but if it's not the module in the center, I don't know where it would be in that truck. It was to the left of the radio in my brother's 2003 Ranger. Doubt it would be in the same spot, but it might be worth a look.

Welp just found out from a dealer friend of mine that the GEM in that truck is incorporated in the fuse panel. Which is now dubbed power junction box.
