Edge back-up camera or other?

Just got a new to me '06 F-250 CC FX4 XLT. After seeing all the good and bads about the truck I know I need a monitor ASAP. Looking at getting the EDGE CTS. Now for the question....has anyone bought their back-up camera that hooks up to it? Roughly $250. Is it worth it or can you buy a cheaper version and hook it up to the monitor as well?

Yeah I've seen several for under $50 it seems like but didn't know if it would be the same connection and set up or if the Edge made it where only theres would fit it. Let me know how yours works out.

I have the CTS with the Edge Backup camera and I love it! $250 is a little pricy but Edge has very high quality products. Just the license plate bracket is worth $25, its all aluminum, painted and shined. Comes with all the wireing you need, all stainless mounting hardware, even has the fuse jumper to hook it up to your fuse box fro power. I had a cheap backup camera that I bought at PepBoys a long time ago. It was around $50 and was complete Chinese junk. The mount was plastic, needed to buy more wiring, and the monitor was small and terrible quality, it always got blurry when it rained from condensation and overall was just not good. The Edge is excellent quality and you can adjust the angle of the camera if your truck is lifted or for hooking up a trailer. I'll post some pics for you in a few minutes.

I couldn't see paying that $$ for the edge unit
i would rather have a ford OEM with the landing lines but it doesn't fit my tailgate handle

I went to sonic electronix and bought a Boyo unit

I also can't have anything blocking the word Arizona so the frame mounts were out

We have installed several, they work great and are easy to install. Customers were happy but I don't have one personally.
