Aux button but no cord slot???
I have an 06 xlt with an "Aux" button but I cannot find the slot for the life of me. Do i need to pull the radio out and install some aftermark wires for me to be able to use it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

you'll need something like this
FRD04-AUX ford auxiliary audio input radio Mustang F150 F250 fusion aux adapter expedition interface |

I ran into the same thing and I had to just shake my head and laugh. I mean reely its the little things that the American auto industry just cant seem to get right.

Hahaha me too, I'm just sitting here like what in the world, why. It would cost nothing but a cent to them.

I too was pretty disappointed when I found there was no input. It would be very inexpensive for Ford to incorporate something like that into the original design.
Does anyone on here have any experience with that suggested adapter? I wonder what the sound quality is like? |

If your radio has a aux button there is a place to plug in a P.I.E. adapter to add an aux input. I just got done wiring in my Sirius Sportster 5 and this is how I did it. Great sound through the adapter and also works well because I can unplug my Sirius and plug in my phone or anything else I want to listen to.
