cruise control not working

hello guys i need some help again. my step dads, 05 f250 6.0 5sp standerd. the cruise stopped working a few days ago. iv read that the deactivate switch is a common problem, (one on the end of the master clyinder) i jumped the switch and still no cruise. iv checked every fuse i can find and all are good. so whats left other then the steering wheel buttons and clock spring?

Abs system will not let the cruise control activate if there is a fault in the system. Most likely have to take it to ford and have them hook their scanner to it to pull abs codes as thy have some of the only equipment to do so when it comes to the abs.

wouldnt there be a abs light on if there was a fault in the system. there are no lights on.

Not sure if it would every time but it's worth going to ford to have them scan it to find out if cruise control is that important.
