Ac stuck on high

Bad luck this week with the truck. My fan is stuck on high. I can adjust temperature but not fan speed. It also stays blowing even when I turn the air off it just moves to the defrost vents on top of the dash. The only way to turn it off is to shut the truck off. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Does the display change on the A/C control head if you lower the fan speed? If it does change but the fan doesnt, it could be a bad blower speed resistor, but since you said the air goes to defrost, it sounds like the A/C control head itself.
