HID question?
Could installing ddm 55w 8000k on a f350 with poor batteries cause a long crank to start? He is picking up batteries but we installed the lights and it barley starts now. Alternator is fine.
Do the gasses draw that much power to ignite? |

Anything is possible but that's a far catch to throw. I highly doubt the HIDs would cause a noticeably longer crank. It's probably just the batteries getting progressively worse.
Get some good batteries and see how she starts. Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app |

I threw my batteries in his truck and it started fine. I also have HIDs, guess we found the obvious problem lol. Thanks!
