Power Locks

Got a 2006 F250 super cab. Went out today and the keyless entry remote worked to open the truck but when i went to lock them neither remote works. I check the BSM fuses and all were ok. The lock button on both doors work fine inside the truck just the remotes dont work. Hvent checked the battery since it was both the remotes at the exact same time, I even went as far as to try reprogramminig the remotes but nothing. Anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?
