24 pin connector interface HELP
i ordered a 16 pin connector ipod interface for my single CD radio with AUX button after pulling apart the dash i realized that i have a 24 pin connector. Does anyone know which model will fit this? thanks

For some reason it looks like i have a unused 16 pin connection on the back of the stereo too?

Not sure which piece you have but our piece, the PAC AAI-FRD04 plugs into the 16 pin port

the 24 pin is the radio/speakers. The 16 pin is the aux/RSE input.

so your sayin there should be another plug behind the dash somewhere? i have a 16pin spot on the back of my radio as well but it had nothing plugged into it

The plug from the adapter plugs into the 16 pin port in the back of the radio.Im pretty sure you don't even have to unplug that 24 pin plug.

Yes I understand all I'm asking is if there's no 16 pin plug connected into the back of my radio should there be one unplugged behind the radio somewhere or do I just plug my interface in by itself?

do you need to have the power/ground hooked up for it to work or do you need to do that only if you want the charging feature to work?
