double din install in an 04

I have been searching for any info on this. I hear that you have to do some trimming but I would like to see if anyone has a guide or a link to a guide. Thanks.

While I dont have any type guide to provide to you, I can say that on both of my 04's (Excursion and F150) I did no trimming at all. If you purchase the right install "cage" it will fit in with no modifications and look like it came from the factory. Any Best Buy or WalMart should carry the double din install cages for less than $20.

I did a quick search on the Best Buy website and found the exact same cage that I used;
