would a sub sound good?
I listen to mostly country/hard rock. Would a 12 inch sub make the sound quality better or would that give it too much bass for the type of music I listen to? I found this package on amazon:
and i figured that it was a pretty good deal since I really wouldnt want to spend any more money than that. I have never really dealt with subs so I dont want to spend money to make my music sound worse. Would they be worth getting?

I have a pioneer deh 33 hd head unit and these:
in my front doors. I will probably also throw some new speakers in the rear doors since the stockers blew.

Well I recommend since you have an ext cab. Buy or build a box for two 10" subs to go under the seats. Same subs work great even as 10's get a class d mono blocked amp (1channle) and run 2 4ohm subs to make it run 2ohms and you will be more than happy. All you will need is like a 600.1 amp

I listen to similar music to you from what you said and I like the little extra punch a couple sub's give. They were in the truck when I got it, so I don't have many details, but it is a full width box under the back seat and you wouldn't even know it was there (or wasn't factory for that matter).

All music has bass notes, so yes, a subwoofer will sound good.

They're 8's and they sound clean. Not too much but just enough. It provides good tight punch for rock and just enough broad bass for hip hop/rap. But I want more so im gonna have a similar box built for three Rockford Fosgate 10's.
