I have a 04 f250 and I installed the pioneer AVH-P4200DVD. It's been a great head unit. Ive had no problems with it. I also had 7" monitors installed in the head rest of Botha seats. Works very well for long didstance trips.

I have the factory navigation head unit made by pioneer and added a lock pick to it which allows me to watch movies using my ipod as a hard drive. The lock pick also allowed me to add a couple cameras which uses the nav unit for the display. Keeps it clean factory look to it, with benefits.

I recently put in the Pioneer AVH-P4400, got it for about $400 from Amazon. It works awesome. I went with the Metra Axxes steering wheel controller it works perfect and get the right bypass to watch video while in D.
I used the install kit Metra 95-5812 (double DIN) and it worked well, I forgot to order the adapter plug so I was pretty pizzed at myself when I went to install. All in a 2006 F350 it looks and fits like OEM. Its been in for about 2 months and I love it, it doesn't have NAV but can be added or just get the Pioneer that comes with. |

Oh and go with the cheaper iPOD cable that is about $16, it works great for audio and video from the iPOD. I use mine as a hard drive as well, works great.
