stock keyless entry question

When I purchased My 2006 F250 Lariat it didn't come with the key fob/remote. I have the keypad on the door and being a Lariat is there a good chance I already have it installed and just need to buy a remote and program it? Is there anyway I can check? Thanks

No need to check, all Lariats have keyless entry.

Well I tried and tried to get into reprogramming mode and it never happened. I hooked up my Auto Enguity and ran a scan on the truck. Since its a 2006 it communicates with all the body control modules. It shows responses from all the items I have...one thing I don't have is park assist so it shows "no response from module" It also says that about anti theft module. Is that the same module that controls the keyless entry?

The anti-theft I bet is the PaTS system that the truck does not have. You should be able to buy a key fob from a 2006 and be able to program it. I hate to say it but if you can't get it a trip to the dealer may be in order.

That's relieving to read. Well I followed the instructions in the manual says to flick it between off and acc 8 times with in 10 seconds and on the 8th one click it to on and the door locks should cycle. Although I did this without having a FOB there I was just checking to see if it worked...but maybe it needs to sense a FOB first?

If you have a Lariat then it should have the security system. remember the fobs and the key pad are two different systems. To program fobs start in the off position with the the key, then cycle 8 times to the acc position, ( just before the start position) and ending in the acc position. The door locks will cycle once (lock then unlock) you are now in the program mode. push any button on the fob and the locks will cycle, Note: all fobs must be programed at the same time(one after the other) in order to work. Your key pad is a different animal. you will need the FACTORY code for it to work, The module is in the dash above the the the brake controller and is a white label with several numbers. The five larger numbers is the factory code. this allows you to use this code to unlock the vehicle or enter a personal code. If you get this far let me know I will give the directions to enter your own code. Good luck.

Can you please help me with this. I just got some key fobs from ebay and I have been cycling the key from off to on alot now and I still can't get it to work. Is there some kind of magic thing to do?

Replacing lost remote entry transmitters
If you would like to have your remote entry transmitter reprogrammed
because you lost one, or would like to buy additional remote entry
transmitters, you can either reprogram them yourself, or take all
remote entry transmitters to your authorized dealer for
reprogramming.

How to reprogram your remote entry transmitters
You must have all remote keyless entry keypads and remote entry
transmitters (maximum of four) available before beginning this
procedure.

To program the keyless entry
keypads remote entry transmitters
yourself:
1. Ensure the vehicle is
electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the 2 (LOCK)
position to 3 (OFF).
4. Cycle eight times rapidly (within
10 seconds) between the 3 (OFF)
position and 4 (ON). Note: The eighth turn must end in the 4 (ON)
position.
5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been activated.
6. Within 20 seconds, program the keyless entry keypad by pressing the
7 • 8 and the 9 • 0 controls at the same time.
7. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the keypad
programming mode has been activated.
8. Within 20 seconds, program the remote entry transmitter by pressing
any button on the transmitter. Note: If more than 20 seconds have
