nav help
Clueless to whats good these days. I havent bought a stereo for a vehicle since I was 18. I had bought a nice kenwood excelon back then and it was awesome.
I think I want an in dash nav. Parially to cut down on all the wires with the phone charger, ipod cord, gps cord its aggravating the sh*t out of me. I'd like to retain the factory steering wheel controls. Can I find something thats not junk and have it installed for $1000? |

I can tell you Im a pretty picky person with my whip. I just put this unit in and I am very happy with it, extremely happy with it. I installed myself and it was very easy to do. I got it refurb'ed on ebay for 529$ with a warranty and it has a detachable faceplate for a double din thats rare. Check it out and if you have any questions feel free to ask me. It is also about in the middle of the top 10 Nav units as well. I personally like the built in HD radio =)..

I am I used the access steering wheel module and it plugs into a jack on the JVC unit with one connection on the harness and that's it. All works perfectly with no lag.
