Bed Lights on Upfitter Switches

I am about to install the Recon Bed Lights on my truck....Anybody know what kind of amps these things put out? Im guessing I would be fine hooking them up to AUX #3 or #4, but want to make sure! Anybody do this before?

Install on an F150

I would say that they should be fine on 3 or 4. These look like a neat idea. I had never hear of bed lights but I may have to get a set! Any idea on the cheapest place to get them?

Talking Bed / Tool Box LED Lights

I picked up a set of led lights from Discount Auto Parts and installed them they were under 25.00 it was two strands that had 4 lights on each strand evenly spaced out. They were very easy to install. I connected them to upfitter switch three, they are awesome. I actually added two of them in my tool box see images. Each light is made up of four small LED's the kit comes with double sided tape and screws which I did screw mine in so they would stay. The amount of light is perfect.

I like how you put the lights in the tool box! I was thinking of putting the last light on each string in my box also then spacing out the other three evenly in the bed.

I have been thinking of doing something like this but planned on using led light strip from superbrightled.com

They have a waterproof housing version.
I am also doing these in a 26 foot race trailer instead of the normal overhead lighting

Got my set, not installed yet... 3M tape isn't going to work as my spray on liner goes up under the rail will have to do something different.

I picked up 4-baitwell lights from a local marine store. Wired them to #4 with great results. I will suggest to add a 4ga ground wire attached to the truck bed. I found an issue with the brightness and flickering. I added a 4ga battery ground wire from Tractor Supply and it's working as expected now.

I bought 4 LED strips off Ebay and wired them to the battery directly. I added a push button switch just inside the bed behind the tail lights. Works great. I highly recommend the lights.

Finally, 7 months later, got my set put in, the 3M did stick nicely (so far) to the little bit of bedliner over spray that is under the rail. Waiting for an LED strip for the tool box to arrive, then to wire them up.
