i just bought mine yesterday from Ford like $80.00 it plugs right into the block above the starter on the pas. side

i bought the cord from car quest for $18.97 dosen't come with clips to secure it ,so i put cord in plastic loom zipped tied it along battery cable. part #htr 78064

The block heater is already there, you just need the cord, right?....got mine from eBay like less than 20 bux.

Plugged right in and routed cord to front bumper.

thats correct. The heater is already there. Depending on what state your truck was shipped to it may or may not of had the wire on there. Just get ya one and plug it in.

Oh yeah, forgot about the 10 "cold" states that it came standard when shipped there.
