UPFITTER SWITCHES????
Alright , so im tryin to hook up some stuff to my upfitter switches, there is power at the switches, i can hear the relays in the box above the glove box doin their thing, the fuses are good but i have no power at the wires themselves . Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any idea what it is im missing? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you are at the wrong wires? The wires for the switches are just behind the fuse panel. There are other unterminated wires that go through a grommet in the firewall, close to same location.

Do a google search..there are a bunch of threads explaining the location and which color wires go to which switch. Remove the 4 bolts to the fuse panel and the wires are behind that.

Directions:
Remove all rings, watches, & bracelets (a must when doing electronics) Remove the drivers side access panel (below the steering wheel) Using the 11mm socket & ratchet, remove the 4 bolts which hold the fuse panel. Gently, pull the fuse box through the opening and leave it hang. Look for the UpFitter wire bundle as noted in this photo: Choose which switch you want to use. Here is a list of wires: Aux-1 Circuit No 1936 wire color: Orange/Lt. Green [30amp] Aux-2 Circuit No 1933 wire color: Orange [30amp] Aux-3 Circuit No 1934 wire color: Orange/Yellow [10amp] Aux-4 Circuit No 1935 wire color: Orange/Lt. Blue [10amp] Here you go.. |

Thanks. I've had several. The one in my avatar was an 88 coupe. It's been about 10 years since I had that one.
