Stock trailer brake

ok here goes i have a 2005 f350 6.0l and have been wanting the integrated trailer brake in the dash. My truck when i bought it used had just a pod for putting stuff in, not the brake controller. i got the opportunity to get one out of a work truck. so if i put it in my truck will it work? i have the 2 plugs under the dash that will accept the brake controller. So will this work properly just plug and play?

Unforetunately it's not. You'll need a new master cylinder and I believe a PCM reflash.

This is correct if you want it to work properly with the ABS and stuff.
