Thinking about installing an iPad into the dash of my truck.
My stock 6disck radio doesn't work any more other then AM/FM and AUX. My son brought the iPad with us on a trip and..... I am ashamed to admit it.... FORGIVE ME JESUS!?! I became ..... a ... MAC FAN! The thing kicks but! You can get a thousand stations on it, updated traffic, google maps, it's endless. With $100 I can hook up a sensor under the drivers side and get all info into the iPad to tell me temps, etc.
There is more then enough room on this giant dash to get the install done. From what I seen I'd have to move the radio back (deeper in the dash) an inch or two. Relocate the AC unit and we're good to go. Looks like I am going to tackle this situation in the next 30 days. After the EGR delima and tinted windows. |
