Aux button

Does anyone know how to get this button to do something I want to be able to use my iPod on my factory radio some one must know

you need an auxiliary input adapter. it plugs into the back of the stock head unit and then you can plug your ipod in to that.

Any idead where you would get the adapter? Is this easy to do also?

I believe it's actually called a PIE adapter. The part number you want should be FRD04-AUX. I'm pretty sure that's the right one for '04 F250 and up as long as you have the AUX button on your radio. The hardest part of the install is pulling enough of the dash to be able to reach the back of you radio. After that it should just plug right into the back.

The dash is extremly easy to pop out to get to the radio. Just pull the steering wheel tilt all the way down then give the top of the dash a good knock back towards you it just pops right out. Unplug the plugs on the backside then it's just 4 screws on the front bracket of the stereo and it's out. Takes about 10 minutes.

I also like to set the parking brake, turn the key on and put the gearshift lever all the way down in 1st gear. Then you can still turn the key off. If you have an automatic of course.
