A/C blows HOT heated air except when on Max A/C
Drove about 30 minutes to a wedding yesterday. Truck sat for about 4 hours then when I started it to drive home it was chilly out so I turned to temp control knob the hot until the truck warmed up a bit. After that when I turned the temp knob back to a cooler setting it just kept getting hotter and hotter. When I switched to max a/c it started cooling off but as soon as I switched to anything other than Max a/c it started pumping out really really hot air as if the heat was on max. Now all I get when I turn the fan on any setting other than Max a/c I get max heat coming out, no matter what register it comes out off. All wires appear to be connected to the heat and a/c controls. Can anybody help me, tell me how to diagnose the problem?
