Thinking about building a system

Been looking at components to start a build. There is so much stuff out there that I don't even know where to begin. I like a challenge.

Just a good sound, decent bass but not overpowering. I know I want to run 2 of the JL 13TW5. Amps and components, undecided.

Unless you need the shallow mounting of the JL 13TW5, I would recomend the Kicker Comp VR 10", which are $150 each.(The lowest I could find just for one of the JLs is $310) Power the Comp VR 10" subs with the Lanzar 1000 Watt 2 Channel Vector . For speakers go to Kicker DS 68.2 or DS 65.2 depending on what your speakers are. If your speakers are 6x8, then you get the DS 68.2 and if you have just a 6 1/2 circle then you get the DS 65.2. Power those by a Rockford Fosgate 200 Watt 2 Channel .
The prices are:
CompVR 10" are $150 each
Lanzar Amp: $100
Depending on what you need you'll get the 68.2 or 65.2: $170 each (You'll need 2 of them because you have a crew cab)
Rockford Fosgate Amp: $240

I'm wanting the JL's because I don't want to have to move the rear seat any and I can build a box that will fit under it perfectly. I've had Kicker subs and JL's before and I like the sound of JL's better too. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna check the amps and other speakers out now.

My brother looks at a stero shop. He says that Lanzar are the best amps out there right now because mainly, they are new to the market but have professional grade parts in there amps. The second one is that the lowest amp they have is 800 watts. This is the main reason they are cheap. The more watts you want, the bigger transformer you need.. so just wrap more wires around to get more power. He also says that Kicker or Infinity speakers and Kicker subs are the best out there for there for there price.

You could go the route that I did... Pioneer P3200BT Touchscreen, Rockford Fosgatw Punch Door Speakers, 2 12" Rockford Subs in a box behind the seat, and a Rockford 500.1 Amp. It's pretty loud when you want it to be, and it delivers great sound quality.
