Smoked Recon Lighs?

Okay guys I am thinking about ordering all smoke out led lights by Recon today. Including Cab lights, Side mirror lights, Tail lights and Truck bed light. I think on my black 06 this will look pretty nasty. Looking for any reason not to do this? i have heard that some people cant get the mirror lights to install flush like the stock ones. Also if any has any on their truck and has some pics i would love to see.

i have the tail lights, third brake light. tried the mirror lenses, at yes they did not fit right, they are a waste of money. the brake lights are good,, the third brake light 3 of the leds went out about 2 months after installing them. over all satisfied. do not do the mirror lenses you will be sorry. luckily i bought through amazon and they refunded my money. if you go with recon check amazon first. the are usually a better price.

Thanks! i will not order the side mirror lenses due to the fact that all i have heard is that they do dot fit!! I cant believe those led bulbs went out so fast. i thought they are supposed to have amazing life on them. That is disappointing. Well i still think im going to do the third brake light, tail lights and cab lights. How do the smoked tail lights look on your truck?

i also have a black 06 and the lights look awesome. sorry not able to post pictures. you wont be disappointed with them. check the forum, i believe some on here have smoked their mirror lenses with something called vht nite shade. please be sure to check on amazons site for the tail lights and 3rd brake light. better prices and great customer service. good luck

i just installed the smoked mirror lenses yesterday and they fit perfect all you need is alot of patience and a good little flash light

yeah man, my mirror lights ended up fitting fine... Not sure if you can tell in this pic though.. I also have the smoked headlights and the smoked LED tail lights, along with a RECON light bar below the tailgate. Let me know if you want anymore pics, I have a few others.

personally i think the clear would look best on a black truck.
anyway i have the recon cab,mirror,front turn,reverse,license plate,and extra reverse light. only thing i have left is interior and 3rd brake light. mine all fit great and havnt had any problems
