AUX Connection for stock radio
I desperately want a to connect my iPod to the stock radio. I want to get a new head unit someday maybe. Until then is there any way to add an AUX port? I've tried the FM radio things before and they suck. It has to be wired.
Thanks for your help! |

I just replaced my head unit, I had so much junk plugged in between ipod, xm, and bluetooth. I did a pioneer double din and added the xm. I love the thing, it's great for the ipod, has external usb and aux port. I just have to fugure out how to use the rest of it.

I dont know about ya'll but if Im going to take the time to pull the headunit & spend almost 100.00 on a part just to hook up my ipod, Im just gonna hold off & spend a couple hundred more & get a good double din aftermarket head unit that does it all & much better. Even if you hook up the Aux to give yourself a audio input, you still cant control your ipod. Most any aftermarket unit will control the ipod from the touchscreen/control/remote. Also, why did Ford put such a sucky selection of buttons on our steering wheel? Who really wants to scan stations from their steering wheel? I want to be able to cycle between my presets.
