Having new alarm installed - Autopage C3-RS1100 OLED

Dropped the truck off today to have a new alarm installed. The Viper I have in it is almost 6 years old, plus it was installed by Best Buy (NEVER AGAIN). I was starting to have some problems with it, and with my recent break-in, I didnt want to take any chances. Decide to go with the Autopage C3-RS1100 with the OLED color display, and remote start. Should be done tomorrow, cant wait.

Here is the one I went with:

I love it!!! No way did I attempt the install. I do all my own stereo stuff but I leave the alarms to the pros. Plus they have their little tricks for hiding things really good. LOL

Did you need a bypass for this unit and an extra key? I know most systems require something like this to get around the built-in security of the vehicle.

Did you tie any aux relays into the device like idle up or anything like that?

Does the screen customize to show a truck instead of a car? Not that it makes a difference, just curious what it's capabilities were.
