Remote Starter
There might already be a thread for this, but I was wondering if anyone can give me some first hand experience with remote starters.
Just looking for people to make some recommendations for me on what they have used or know is good. Preferable 2 way starters. |

I have the viper 5701 which is two-way but doesn't have the LCD remote and I like it.
It was a little hard to install, mainly because I was doing it outside and it started snowing. But overall it wasnt to hard to install Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide |

I install remote starters on vehicle on the side and i prefer Ultra Start or Compustar brands..
not sure what year you psd is but some fords have security so you would need a bypass module. by looking at you key if it can be replaced by an all metal key and still start you truck then you dont have anti theft if it is kinda bigger black key and has a S stamped right before the plastic it does have anti theft and you will need a bypass module.. Xpresskit.com have great interfaces... i just did an 2010 F150 and used the XK05 module which would be the same for yours. also i get my remote starts from Lesscoelectronics.com his name is Martin and he is a good guy to deal with. good luck with your remote start |

Excursions are the ones with the PATS that require the module to bypass. The 250/350 do not have transponder keys.
